Deep Sea Fishing Tips ~ For Your Deep Sea Adventure

Here are some useful deep sea fishing tips for you to look-up to before you go on a deep sea fishing trip.

Deep sea fishing is much more challenging and exciting where the big ones live. A lot of fun awaits you out there provided you are well prepared for the trip. It will be more enjoyable and better catch.

I invite you to sit back, relax and have a coffee or your favorite ice-cold beer and read this list carefully. And here is the list:

1 Learn to tie some good fishing knots -- because deep sea fish are strong and big, the quality of your knots that you tie can make so much difference between landing your catch and losing them.

2 Pre-rigged leaders – prepare some of them before the trip to save valuable time when in the middle of a hot bite. And for a greater hook-up rate use circle hooks.

3 Fluorocarbon line – use this line for leaders because it is almost invisible when submerged. It will not spook line-shy fish especially when you are fishing crystal-clear water.

4 Camera – Don’t forget to bring one along just in case you hook on to a whopper.

5 Polarized sunglasses – wear them to see clearer where the fish are and also to protect your eyes from the sunrays.

6 Sun cream – bring it with you so as to prevent sunburn because you will be fishing the whole day in the open.

7 Birds – when you see a flock of birds diving in and out of the water it indicate that they are feeding on a school of baitfish driven to the surface by big predator fish. Cast your baited hook or lure over the school and you will be surprised that a big one will grab your offer.

8 Floating woods and debris – are shelter for baitfish and they are favorite hunting grounds for predator fish such as dolphin fish. It is worth to stop and make some cast with your baited hook or lure to the spot.

9 Dolphins --When dolphins are around tuna are nearby.

10 Use live baits – as always live bait is the best. And the best live bait is squid; it always outfishes all other bait.

So, after going through this list of deep sea fishing tips above I hope you are better prepared now for your deep sea adventure, and I wish you have a lot of fun and a thrilling experience.
